The Digital Photography of Steve Mekata

This site exists to share my photographic images for my own enjoyment and hopefully for the enjoyment of others. Photography is a personal passion of mine, focusing on nature photography in general and coastal scenics in particular.

You will find the great majority of my images are taken within a five hour radius of my home in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. While I am fortunate to live in a relatively diverse region of the US, I feel that it is not necessary to travel too far to explore the beauty of the world around us.
